I really loved Rollo's pronunciation of Beaujolais! Ghetto chick: "What IS this?" Rollo: " Booze-Yo-Lay!"

LOL - about the closest I ever got to "Ghetto Wine" was some crap called "Ruby Rouge" - a "red wine" that tasted like red wine vinegar, but because it sold for $1.50 a bottle, it was a good, cheap buzz for a Saturday night for teenagers! lol
I swear the taste lingered for days in your mouth afterwards too. I think if I ever were that desperate for a buzz again, I'd go with Aqua Velva.

Back in the late 60's I took a couple of swigs of Ripple. I never did buy it, but it was offered to me. It tasted like a bubbly Sangria or Port, as I recall. It tasted ok, I suppose. Not being a wine elitist, I've never really cared whether I was drinking the "correct" wine. I drink it if I like it.

I beg to differ, cold duck is good. I think I am going to have to get some of that in the near future. |

"The Jeffersons" |
