Looks like since Paramount-Skydance merger. Friends will be losing Nick@Nite rights after 14 years after September 4. Friends started airing on September 5, 2011. It used to air on MTV in 2017 and 2025 for short time, Comedy Central 2021-2022. So I'm guessing Paramount will lose rights for the show.

UPDATE: Friends at last notice has renewed the deal, as of Sept 5, 2025 on the day it was thought to expire the rights. So Friends is here to stay on Nick@Nite and TBS

Say it ain’t so, This Friday might be the first time in Nick at Nite History that none of the pre-2000 shows on the schedule. Blame the Skydance/Paramount merger for not allowing Nick at Nite to continue rerun Friends after 14 long years.

I wouldnt wanna watch them anyway Amack.....

I dont like the digital void they are trapped in now... I much prefer the original softer analogue picture and sound

I mi$$ analogue cable terribly buddy!!!

No the press release did NOT say anything about renewal, but nickandmore, a fan site confirms the show made last minute renewal. But it's unknown for how many years it will continue to stay on block.
