Default I see now that Catchy Comedy does the same thing as Antenna TV

Shrink the closing credits of the previous episode while showing the Opening credits for the next show. When it was called Decades that didnt happen because I used to watch MTM when I was working from home in 2021. I used to enjoy watching the closing credits of MTM because it was so peaceful. Fast forward to 2025 and now I cant hear the closing theme. I think Metv still shows closing credits

Yes metv still does. Several months ago, I caught metv credit crunching Laverne and Shirley but I think that was a mistake by someone at Weigel who probably thought that’s what they had to do as far as metv goes only to be told by their boss not to do that for metv.

Unfortunately Catchy crunches several of their shows. I don’t care for it at all and I’ll seek out other sources to watch those. But there are still a lot of shows Catchy does not crunch which I am glad for and will continue to enjoy those shows on Catchy.

Which is why I wish the other Norman Lear shows, Maude, The Jeffersons, Archie Bunker’s Place, as well as the shows produced by his production companies Diff’rent Strokes, The Facts of Life, Who’s the Boss, and 227, would move from Antenna/Rewind to Catchy so they most likely won’t be crunched there.
