That's OK. When we started crushing on girls or guys who were really young on TV we were young too. It's not inappropriate. Not like we are crushing on modern day celebrity teenagers !

I'm watching Brooklyn Bridge. That TV show about a Jewish family living in Brooklyn in the 1950's. Such a great show. Glad Catchy Comedy is running it on the Sunday binge schedule today.

I was so excited this was going to be on and no disrespect for the dead , or to Loretta Swit, but I was afraid BB would be canceled , and Mash would be on! Catchy does that when somebody dies. But Mash isn't really a CC show. But they have recently been showing it on Saturday, only one episode.Anyway si glad BB is on today !

And your guy Art Garfunkel sings the theme song " Just over tge Brooklyn bridge" . Beautiful song !

The only thing that would make this show better is if Paul Simon sang " Just over the Brooklyn Bridge" instead of Art !

Yeah. Any Val photo I post I was 3 years YOUNGER than her whenever it was taken. Heck, I wasn’t even born yet for this one.

Marion Ross ( Mrs.C ) plays the Grandmother, and does a great Polish/ Yiddish type accent . And the Grandfather too,with the accent. I'm pretty sure he played in Fiddler on the roof? None of the other actors are too known or famous.

It takes place 1956- 57 ish .The whole extended family live in a typical Brooklyn brownstone. Grandparents downstairs. Hubby, Wife and 2 boys upstairs. Really cute show. Very nostalgic, and it's totally a dramidy . You laugh you cry.

It's kinda like if you crossed The Wonder years with the Waltons . Or kinda like that movie Jonathan Silverman was in . Brighton Beach memoirs .

I really LOVE this show. Kind of makes me nostalgic for the old days in Philly. Even though that was 60's and 70's I was a kid. And the two Sons , I can really relate, having 2 myself.

But Grandma , Mrs. C really steals the show , She's great. All the actimg is really good. A shame it only lasted two seasons .

Looks like every episode is on YouTube. I watched the opening credits. Definitely Garfunkel-y sounding.
