Default Was Family sketch Mama similar to Syndicated Mama in ANY way?

I know it's been discussed, but it seems like Family Sketch Mama is a totally different person than Mama from Syndicated Mama's Family.....Outside of how Mama dresses and fashion, is there any way that Family Sketch Mama is similar to syndicated Mama's Family Mama? Even her VOICE is different!

Just a random comparison: Take Mama the Family Sketch where she's in a wheelchair and Eunice is trying to take care of her..... vs Mama from Mama's Family episode where she's left alone for the week-end, making music with kitchen utensils... Are these 2 even the same person?!

No, other than the name of the character "Mama" and the costume she wore there were very few similarities. Really, the only exceptions were when Carol and Harvey showed up in a few early episodes on the Network version as Eunice and Ed. Their characters were played the same. Even the Ellen character played by Betty White was quite a bit different on Mama's Family than she was in the three "Family" sketches she appeared in on The Carol Burnett Show. By the time the syndicated version comes along Mama is really a completely different character with few, if any, of the characteristics of Mama on The Carol Burnett Show.

To me Eunice was much more of a villain on Mama's Family as opposed to the Family Sketch on the Carol Burnett Show. Eunice was always portrayed as a victim on the Family Sketches and TRIED to be friendly and usually kept it together pretty well until the very end when she would explode due to people badgering her through the whole episode.... where as on Mama's Family it seemed like Eunice would often walk in the room with a chip on her shoulder.
