Ok, that makes sense. Just went back and saw segment. Very odd though someone from New Hampshire would be a Senators fan in the 1960's, let alone anything but a Red Sox fan.

Yeah I'd say, considering no Washington based teams really had any ties to that, along with the general New England area! Not that teams don't have fans far away from where they actually play by any means, what with well known, big time sports teams in the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers, Lakers, Bulls (during the Michael Jordan era), Cowboys, Steelers, Raiders, Patriots (when they had Tom Brady), and Red Wings etc., being some prime examples of this. He/Danny could also of course have had reasons as to why he was a fan of that particular team, and/or just maybe liked the hat itself without being a fan of their's, or even sports in general (which would obviously not have been relevant to the case itself if so), but still.

Not so much a moment, but, does this guy look like he's in the shape of a regular jogger? My vote is, yeah, no. Unless he had been jogging between Burger Kings.

As insensitive as this sounds, it’s funny to me that Kurt McFall supposedly died from falling.

Not only that, but Back to the Future began production in November, 1984. Could the name “McFly” have been inspired by Kurt’s case?

The Roswell case. I think it was Roswell. It begins with a bad storm and the there's a cowboy who was up late eating beans and smoking a pipe (imagine the smell). He hears the boom and immediately goes outside, no hat no jacket hes literally in a wife beater and jeans. Stuck out to me

Dialogue between the adult Jim Kimball, missing, diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, and his brother:

"What are you, 5 years old?"
"No, I'm 4. Get out of my face, you idiot!"

Mental illness is not funny, but this was funny,

My brother and I, as kids and teenagers, never watched sports. Later on I watched the NFL and NBA. Still, as kids our parents would buy us baseball caps every couple of years while on vacation across the country. So my brother and I had t-shirts and caps from out of state baseball teams. I never cared for baseball caps! Perhaps Danny went on a family vacation a few states away (like many of us did growing up) and bought a sports cap from another team even though he was not a fan. Another somewhat common occurrence growing up is getting a baseball cap or t-shirt from an uncle that lives like 500 miles away. Maybe Danny got his hat/cap from a relative who stopped by one time?

This has probably been mentioned already but in the Tommy Burkett case, when his mother asks those guys if they've seen Tommy and the one guy goes "no but if you see him, tell him there's three guys that wanna beat him up". It cracks me up every time.

Hehehe yeah I chuckle at this one too. I honestly don't know if I believe a confrontation like this happened; the portrayal on the show was ridiculous. It would have been interesting to hear the description of it from Beth George herself. But they never aired her talking about it.

God bless Beth, I don't know if I could have stayed in one of her classes.....:-(
