I have loved him since childhood but honestly he steals every scene he is in. He is so much more expressive than Robert Conrad, whose expressions vary much more slightly, so I anyway am usually watching Ross Martin even if someone else is speaking.
His wonderful expressiveness greatly enhances my second favorite episode, "The Night of the Raven." When Artie sees what Dr. Loveless has done to Jim and the shape Jim is consequently in, his reaction totally sells the improbable and absurd situation. He was robbed of an award. |

I don't know about that. It's been said that sometimes Robert Conrad did not even recognize him till they were ready to film. Thing is I have heard so many false statements made about TWWW that I don't know which to believe but I like to believe that one.
