worst Wheel of Fortune pilot of all-time: Bazaar '73 vs. Wheel '74
while celebrating Wheel's 30th annivesary in syndication (37 if you count the NBC/CBS daytime network versions) and thanks to David Down's uploads on Youtube. you saw the full 1973 pilot of Shopper's Bazaar and the full 2nd pilot (not the 1st) of Wheel of Fortune with Edd "Kookie" Byrnes and now I want to know from all of my die-hard "Wheel Watcher's" out their by telling me which was the worst Wheel of Fortune pilot of all time?
Shopper's Bazaar with Chuck Woolery from 1973 or Wheel of Fortune with Edd "Kookie" Byrnes from 1974 as usual vote and comment thank you! |

I did see the pilot with Edd Byrnes and it seemed that he was drunk when he hosted. He made a lot of mistakes and didn't have the technical fluency to run a game show. If Merv Griffin went with him, the show wouldn't be on the air today.
