Thanks for posting this. Most of these are so freaking rare especially the one with Jack.
But boy are they moronic. Lame attempts at comedy making Chrissy a complete idiot. I cant imagine the writers who were tasked with writing these tag scenes. Its got to be 30 seconds and be funny.

The real standout for me is #2, where Joyce does a full-on fall, flat on her back. That's a drop of what looks like just over 2 feet onto the carpeted riser with zero padding on her or the floor! That's something we'd expect from John but not Joyce.

I feel like her exit from that scene was part acting and part wish-I-hadn't-done-that! Ouch!!

Its sad to think that many times she would break down and cry before or after these scenes. She would have to pull herself together, wipe her eyes and put on a clown's face. She was not even interacting with anyone on the cast.

I think Pauly Kelly must of been the neighbor of Bob and Carol

On another note, I am curious about the first scene. Chrissy is not even in it and it does not seem like a tag scene. Was it inserted in the middle of the script? The audience does not applaud when Janet leaves which is a sign its not a tag scene. Its a very rare clip and can see why it would be cut from syndication because it serves no relevance to the script.
Oh, it just hit me. This episode is not when she was fired (yet). It appears right after Downhill Chaser where Chrissy makes her final appearance in "A hundred dollars for what." In Downhill Chaser Jack mentions Chrissy at the top of the ski hill. They are still reminding audiences of Chrissy without her doing the tag scenes yet. Her tag scenes don't start appearing until she was fired and several more episodes in.

She wasnt fired until April 2nd 1981. The last phone tag aired on March 10th 1981. She was mentioned for the last time on March 17th 1981 in episode Night of the Ropers and fieed 2 weeks laterr

I should have said when she was officially not allowed to come back to the set. For the beginning of season 5 she started backing out of episodes which made the cast memorize 2 scripts, one if she did not show up. This is why she does not appear in Justice for Jack but returns for A $100 for what? She is out again in Downhill chaser but mentioned. She is out again in the episode where Jack and Larry fall for the same girl where Chriss is mentioned again and Janet has a phone call with Chrissy but we dont see or hear Chrissy. When they would not let her come back to the set she sort of was fired but not really. Those tag scenes were used as punishment and to explain Chrissy's absence. That is what I meant. The first clip is not a tag scene

Yeah. Everything was still up in the air with her not showing up yet they try to explain to the audience where Chrissy is without seeing her. A short time later she does make appearances for tag scenes only when the network decided to move on and bring in her cousin. The pressure that must of been on Jenilee must of been incredible. Not since Cheryl Ladd replaced Farah Fawcett had someone try and replace one of the biggest TV stars on TV.

Whoopsie! Missed one, apparently. Caught this while re-watching the series.
