Ernie's pretty naive. In the previous season he got suckered in by the girl (played by Brooke Bundy) with the VW she wanted fixed, after she backed into his car. She had all the Douglas guys hot on her trail.

Its the one where Dodie is putting peanuts into a bag for orphans in Korea (what's wrong with the orphans in America, don't they deserve love too?) and I think you are correct about the homework. I looked up and I saw Earnie with his girl.

Love, love, love Brooke Bundy. Yes, all the men bent over backwards for her. Not sure what they thought they were going to get from her by being nice since they were all married.

Brooke Bundy had a memorable Donna Reed Show appearance, she had to hide under a bed (in Jeff's bedroom, IIRC). Also on Lassie, IIRC her character drinks contaminated water. And wasn't that Brooke playing the adoptive mom on the "Kelly's Kids" episode of The Brady Bunch?

I vaguely remember that episode. Being that it's The Donna Reed Show, it's not what most would think!

My bad. I knew who you meant, but I was mixed up about which character that Jackie Joseph had played. Maybe my brain just automatically assumed that she had played Mrs. Kelly since her and Ken Berry (Mr. Kelly) were married in real life.

Jackie was married to Ken. Always with her name to be prefaced as "The Fabulous Jackie Joseph"...
