Its so sad that her manager stole her money and how the producers treated her. She really added to the show when she showed up for a few episodes each season. I've read before or she alluded to it that producers wanted her off the show for fear she would be outed as gay.
Todd Bridges from Different Strokes also had a manager steal 4 million from him and also molested him. Very sad situations. She probably regrets walking away even for that one episode in season 5.
Lisa Welchel is incredible because she was still very good friends with Geri when they were filming seasons 5 and 6. Lisa would invite Geri to the set just to hang out hoping that someone would invite her to participate in the script.
