In 1986 CBS launched a wonderful drama series called Morningstar Eveningstar and was slated to become one of CBS's newest dramas of 1986. Morningstar Eveningstar was created by Earl Hammer "the creator of The Waltons" and centered on a group of senior citizens who took in orphaned children and made their home a happy home. Though no big celebrities were featured in Morningstar Eveningstar it was the TV debut of Fred Savage who was about seven or eight when this show aired. Although wonderful Morningstar Eveningstar was cancelled by CBS and if it would've survived it would've been a smash hit in my eyes
