In the March 26 premiere, “Jackie stumbles upon an opportunity to sue the pharmaceutical company responsible for Roseanne’s addiction, which sparks a family debate,” according to the official logline. That tees up Lynch’s introduction as the family’s attorney in Episode 2 (airing Wednesday, April 2 at 8/7c). Jean is “a seedy lawyer in a cheap suit,” per the official character breakdown. “The Conners hire her to help them sue the pharmaceutical company responsible for Roseanne’s death.
