Default Dennis the Menace 60s TV Trivia Facts and Goofs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmeDiKOOPZo

Quote:
In this video I look back the 1959 TV series, Dennis the Menace with funny and interesting goofs that made it to the final cut and fun trivia facts from this classic television show.

Also, I have a theory on why George Wilson played by Joseph Kearns loved to say, "Great Scott" all the time like Superman. Plus, a look at what Dennis the Menace actor Jay North thought of show business and what kind of funny spoof he did in the 80s related to his time in Hollywood.

Plus, interesting goofs involving the mom and dad actors, Herbert Anderson and Gloria Henry, and the time Mel Blanc's guest appearance debuted only two days before his near fatal car accident and how the doctor used his love of Bugs Bunny to get Blanc's attention. Find out about the famous Lucille Ball TV series actor Gale Gordon's sudden replacement of Joseph Kearns.

I also take a quick look at the Dennis the Menace comic strip and comic books that inspired the television series.

Having seen these episodes dozens of times since the 80s, I am surprised I never noticed a few of these things, especially the man in the car when Miss Cathcart's cat jumps into the trunk.
Some of these things, absolutely, especially the obvious sound stage behind Mr. Wilson's backyard in many episodes and the background when he and Dennis are being chased by the dog.
Love that the shot at 7:23 is Joseph Kearns' final aired moment on the show.

The backdrop behind the tree fort -- pretty bad. You see that plain backdrop in other Screen Gems shows as well.
