Default "Jumped the shark" in season 4

Chemistry and brilliant comedy are hanging by a thread. I'm up to past halfway. My average episode rating is a ridiculously low 4 out of 10.

A fascinating tank in season 4. Loads of clunker episodes. But, they pull a rabbit out of their hat with a gem episode book ended by the most epically bad episodes.

I have 18 good episodes out of 24:

1. The Longest Good-bye, 2. Here's Looking at You, Kid, 3. Death of a Fruitman, 4. Change Is Gonna Do Me Good, 6. Carol's Wedding, 7. Shrinks Across the Sea, 8. What's It All About, Albert?, 9. Who Is Mr. X?, 10. Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time, 11. Over the River and Through the Woods, 12. Fathers and Sons and Mothers, 15. Bob Has to Have His Tonsils Out, So He Spends Christmas Eve in the Hospital, 16. No Sale, 17. Carol at 6:01, 20. Duke of Dunk, 22. Birth of a Salesman, 24. Peeper Two

I'd say the classics are: Death of a Fruitman, Change Is Gonna Do Me Good, Shrinks Across the Sea, What's It All About, Albert?, Who Is Mr. X?, Over the River and Through the Woods, Duke of Dunk, Birth of a Salesman

That leaves as clunkers:

5. The Heavyweights, 13. The Article, 14. A Matter of Vice Principal, 18. Warden Gordon Borden, 19. My Boy Guillermo, 23. The Boy Next Door

All of those are episodes that focus on supporting cast, and tend to marginalize Bob.

Warden Gordon Borden a clunker? Loved scumbag Gordon and imbecile Howard. A Matter of Vice Principal I liked for it's Suzanne Pleshette focus. Got abot 6 more S4
episodes to go. Almost jumped ship.

Finished a very inconsistent S4. Rated it 4.7 out of 10. Has to be my lowest rating for a classic sitcom season I made it all the way through.

Rating/number of episodes
1-5/15
6-7/7
8-10/2
