Default MeTV is now credit crunching

At least they did it for Laverne and Shirley today where the credits were crunched over the final scene.

Don’t know if they do this for every show.

They didn’t do it for this mornings episode of Perry Mason.

It must be like Catchy Comedy.

I checked some of yesterday’s airings through Frndly. Looks like they did crunch Laverne and Shirley unfortunately. It is one of the shows Catchy also crunches. When it had a binge two weeks ago, I watched it on the Happy Days Pluto channel instead so there would be no crunch. Ironically Happy Days is not crunched. Brady Bunch is also crunched on Catchy but when I check yesterday’s airings on Me it still wasn’t crunched there thankfully.

I’m just upset that MeTV started doing this after they made a big to do on their website about showing the credits in full. Yes, they went through A LONG TIME without crunching from the time they launched in 2010. (They may have done it for a short time in 2015 but stopped.) Compare that to Antenna where they started doing it ten years ago.

I wasn’t improve with the MeTV credit crunching as of late but non-credit crunching era of MeTV should always remain truthful in my view

So many stations do this. I watch station Grit and see many 1950's western type shows. As the show ends 1/4 square is show with the credits. I would love to be able to see the actors names in a easy way. I guess the commercials must be made to last a good 10 minutes in each show. I have noticed FETV has added 5 minutes to every show. Now the show may go from 9am to 9:35.

I just wish they stop. I’m not going to stop watching this network because of this though. It’s just that they made a big to do on their site about showing credits in full.

Well, they didn’t do it for Laverne & Shirley today.

I would say maybe it was a technical mistake and maybe they meant to do it to Catchy but I doubt it.

I like to watch a lot of the binges on Catchy but if it’s a show that they crunch then I’ll seek out an alternative source to watch that show instead for that weekend on another free streaming platform like Pluto.

Yep, I haven't seen any crunches on MeTV--I probably missed the one last week.

Deja vu this week. NO credit crunching this time for Laverne and Shirley. I wonder if it was a mistake the time they did it two weeks ago.

I guess they think the average viewer isn't benefitting from the list of people working on the show. I'm sure it's because of commercials. Money makes the world go round.

At least it’s not as fast as Antenna adopted credit crunching which was very swift.
