I just finished watching the last (half) season. It was sort of eerie, like watching a video of people getting on a plane you know is going to crash.

The characters are very limited, maybe it's because they were cutting the budget back because of the low ratings.

The last episode ever made, "Brenda Runs Away" is very sweet, and ends with a tender shot of Valery Harper and Nancy Walker smiling warmly at each other, and Brenda declaring that she is going through with her wedding that she had doubts about.

Too bad the season was cut short, there could have been a lot of funny story lines about Brenda and Benny . . . and a potential spinoff of the spinoff?

Unfortunately spinoffs are only created from hit shows so that probably was not going to happen but would have been nice to see
