I just heard that Robert Ulrich has passed away. Probably by the cancer that he had. This is sad news. He was so young.

Sad news. I've always liked Robert Urich's acting and his pleasant manner.
Cancer--it's a monster. Claimed my mother's life last month, and my father's battling it now. Will they ever find a cure?

I really liked Robert Urich. I hadn't heard that he was doing poorly in his battle against cancer. He fought it with such grace. I passed him once on the street many years ago. The man was gorgeous; pictures and film did not do him justice. He seemed to be a very nice and sincere person who had his priorities straight; a loving husband and father.

It is a tragedy he had to die so young. I hope with all my heart that somebody discovers a cure for cancer. I don't expect the cure to come today, or tomorrow, but hopefully someday a cure will be found. I thought Robert had beaten it too. I guess the lesson being taught now is to spend today as if it's your last.

He seemed to be a genuine, pleasant man. I liked him. As far as his acting career, the way he played his role in "Lonesome Dove" was probably my favorite. He was convincing and likeable in that part, even though his character was a guy with his morals a bit scrambled.

That's sad. I thought he had beaten that cancer too. I really liked him. BTW for those of you who don't know, he was married to Heather Menzies who played Louisa in "Sound of Music".
