1979 is season 3. Larry was a frequent cast member by then. He started in season 1 and grew with each season.

78-79 is season three. This episode is season 2 which was 1977-78

It was a error by the poster. I can tell by the clothes and look its the episode when Jack works at the Flowershop

I hope this helps. Kline had a reoccurring role from seasons 1 to 3. In season 4
starting with new intro at Santa Monica pier he finally got billed as main character role.

It was about a year in between Larry's 1 and 2 appearance.

Larry appeared once in season 1. It was the episode he gives the roomates a dog. In the first half of the 2nd season Larry was not on at all. It was in the second half of season 2 we saw Larry a few times.

Of course I could check the episode guide, but I'm not sure if Larry had yet made his 2nd appearance by the time the episode of Jack working in Janet's flower shop came on. If not, it wouldn't be long before we saw Larry again.

Larry's 2nd appearance may have been the movie projector episode.
