"Jeopardy!" Postseason: Your Thoughts?
A spinoff/continuation of this thread: Ken Jennings Confirmed as Host When Jeopardy! Returns Today for "Changed" Season 40
Is it really a good idea to group all of Jeopardy!'s tournaments into one "postseason"? No more Teen Tournament, College Championship, or Teachers Tournament? And does there really need to be a second Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament this year? Why make the Invitational Tournament an annual thing now? After about 75% of Jeopardy!'s 40th season was hogged by special tournaments (which, really, was only because of "StrikeMageddon")? Was that really the best way to celebrate Jeopardy!'s 40th Anniversary if "StrikeMageddon" had not happened, or should Jeopardy! have went with a Second Ultimate Tournament of Champions instead (which would have been for the major Jeopardy! champions after season 21)? |
