Really good catch. On a similar theme I too love the people that are filmed for sitcom openings or closings and dont realize it. On the opening to Threes Company is filmed from a roof somewhere looking down on Santa Monica and there is a guy on roller skates. I doubt he knew he was being filmed. On Welcome Back Kotter there are countless people walking the streets. I love the guy on the unicycle at the end. But the most famous is the Mary Tyler Moore show with her in the street and throwing up her hat. That woman's look was so authentic.

Yup, i did the same with Odd Couple closing and opening credits. Jeffersons, with all people walking in Manhatttan, TC season 4 closing with all people on boardwalk.

But in regards to the guy in AITF closing, if u not paying attention you wont notice him lol

Even if you pay attention its hard to see him. I never noticed him before and when I saw this thread I watched looking for him and did not see him. Someone pointed out when he appears and I watched again and saw him.

It was the RED SHORTS that made him stand out

There's a thread on Quora about this oddly specific and extremely esoteric question.

The guy probably died years ago if the aerial shots in the opening credits were shot in the late 1960s.

I wonder if this guy ever knew he was filmed and in the closing credits. This was like Google Street View before it existed.

I guess he has never come forward to identify himself.

From a YouTube comment:

Cooper Street in the Glendale section of Queens is where the actual house and footage was shot even though in the show the address was known as 704 Hauser in Astoria, Queens.

Ya he might not know. I dont think they would tell people who lived on that street to stay inside until the car goes by after all

It looks like he does see the camera because it sort of makes him jump into the alley, no?

Because this is in the closing credits he's not known. Had he been in the opening credits more people would have noticed. Many people including me change the channel or do not watch the entire closing credits.

Maybe he didn’t live there. Maybe the reason he ran from the camera was because he was a burglar casing the area.
