To be honest I never really liked this show much. I never understood how all these other people got to the island and left the island, but they never could fix the shipwrecked boat enough to make it sea worthy. From the pictures on the theme song the boat after it went ashore didn't look that bad. They had two Seamen on the island and a Professor. You would think they would have been able to patch the boat up enough.

As for Ginger and Mary Ann I will go with Ginger just because she is a Red Head like myself.

Ginger by a mile. Never been into the girl next door type. Boring and wholesome. And Mary Ann was from middle America. Too conservative for me. Lol Ginger was smoking hot. Loved the red hair. And she was nice on top of it.

One of the most unrealistic things about this show is that no one hooked up. Come on. You are on a deserted island for that long. lol But's that's Sherwood Schwartz TV for you.

Yes, if it wasn't for Sherwood, people would've been hooking up with each other on a show released in a decade where they couldn't show belly buttons or toilets.

I think perhaps the answer to the original question depends upon timing.

If just for one night.....then Ginger
If for the rest of my life.....then Mary Ann
If just every once in a while...then Mrs Howell

Now..."Merry Florene or Charlene Darling"?....THAT is a much tougher choice. I'm sure that Briscoe Darling would insist upon a shotgun wedding, but I'm not convinced that would necessarily be a bad thing.

I'm surprised she wasn't always trying to get Skipper, Gilligan or the Professor to rub her feet, or maybe that would have been considered too risque for the 60s.

In the episode "Goodbye Island," Gilligan's discovers a type of glue. The Professor uses it to try and fix/patch the boat. Unfortunately, the glue was only temporary and the ship falls apart completely.

Was that the glue Mr. Howell poured on the stage so Mary Ann''s foot would get stuck in it doing her soft shoe dance? Trying to lesson her chances of winning the beauty contest , to give Mrs. Howell a better shot at it!
