Millstone Manor from the BBC series Grace & Favour. A spin-off series of the classic Britcom Are You Being Served?, employees of the Grace Brothers department store from that series inherit an English manor house as part of their pension agreement after their former employer dies. Many of the actors from the original series returned for the spin-off. The new owners decide to turn the manor into a luxury hotel/resort. The show was broadcast as Are You Being Served? Again! in the US:
The Chavenage manor house in Gloucestershire, UK was used in exteriors. The manor house can also be seen in Poldark: ![]()

I think this one technically counts since a cruise is essentially a resort on a boat...
Rose's date Arnie invites her to go on an unnamed cruise and she refuses to get intimate because she feels she would be betraying her late husband, Charlie. To note that Arnie was played by Harold Gould who would go on to play Miles. This was from the Season 1 ep. 'Rose the Prude' |
