You can still get one by writing out [Strike ] [/Strike] and putting a word between them

I tried adding it. It didn't work. I don't think it lets you use the same custom bb code twice. I would have to change it. It would break all the past instances if I were to change it from strike to s.
I could add it to the message editor toolbar, but I would need to find a button to use. Button Image (Optional) If you would like this BB code to appear as a clickable button on the message editor toolbar, enter the URL of an image 21 x 20 pixels in size that will act as the button to insert this BB code. [s]test[/s] We used [s] in 2005. It must have been become unavailable at some point after we last upgraded the software. It was changed to [strike] in 2018. [s] strikeout [/s] Strikeout feature? Do we prefer strike or s? We can't use both. I tried changing strike to s just now. It didn't work. The custom bb code for [s] must not be allowed to be used. I can't get [s] to display properly no matter what code I use. It must have been phased out in newer browsers. Maybe it still works in older browsers like Dude111 uses. AI Overview: To create a strikethrough in HTML, you can use the <s> or <del> tags, or apply the text-decoration: line-through style to a text tag: <s>: This tag indicates that the content is no longer relevant or accurate. However, it's not recommended to use this tag to indicate document changes, and most screen-reading technologies don't detect it. <del>: This tag is used to track document changes. text-decoration: line-through: This style can be applied to a text tag, such as <span>, <p>, or <div>. The <strike> tag was available in previous versions of HTML, but it's not officially supported in HTML 5. While it may still work in HTML 5, it's recommended to use text-decoration: line-through instead because it's more validated and will work on more platforms. It should work Todd. It should work with whatever you assign to it.
Like if you did [test]line thru text[/test] then it should work if TEST was used... What happens if ya try to add S to the database and assign it to strke thru? |

The [s] code doesn't display properly no matter what I use. I put the center code in it as a test.
It does work when I use [strike] or [strikeout]. We now have a strikethrough button.

I see it’s there. Good stuff. But now I’m gonna go into greedy mode. Any way to slide it over next to the bold, italics, underline icons so it’s also available in the quick reply box?

It was easier to use the custom bb code option because it automatically inserted it everywhere with the button. The SOX was totally unplanned. It sorts them by the order they were added. |
