In an episode of Happy Days, there was a mention of a fictitious motel named the Wis Cons Inn. On Newhart, The Stratford Inn.

Angel Investigations used the fictional abandoned hotel as their base of operations during Seasons 2-4. The building used for the exterior was Los Altos Apartments on 4121 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles. |

Sandoval Hotel from "Tales from the Crypt's" Season 7 episode 'Horror in the Night'
In the episode, a wounded jewel thief decides to hide out in a budget hotel, the Sandoval, from the crooks he betrayed. He starts experiencing strange things in the hotel, such as blood on the walls, and seeing a mysterious, sexy woman. At the end of the episode, his fellow crooks find him deceased and the hotel is revealed to be abandoned. |
