I was on a road trip passing through Pennsylvania last month and made a couple of interesting stops. The first was in the village of Kecksburg and the second was at the memorial museum of Flight 93, which lists names of all those who perished on 9/11 and not just the Flight 93 crash.

I've gotten in stuck in my craw to locate the grave of Madeline House..
aka Madeline Underwood. One of the two girls who lived with Charlie Best and his family back in the 30's. It was basically known that she died in 1978 in Greenville, SC.. I went through and found a death notice for her that stated she was to be interred in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Pretty nice cemetery with about 17k interments in it. I've actually fully documented that cemetery for FindaGrave. No marker for her was ever found, so.. I presume she's in an unmarked grave. I've contacted the cemetery office to try and locate where she is interred. Always liked this story and the fact that Charlie was able to reunite with Ada just prior to his death. |

Yes, Unsolved Mysteries filmed the reenactment at Oliver's actual house, around 10 years after he disappeared. Everything matches up.

The only UM site I have ever visited in person: this is where the US Military plane crashed in Gander, Newfoundland (Canada) in 1985. It's a beautiful park overlooking a large lake and hard to believe such a tragedy took place there.
Fun Fact: when it opened in 1938, the nearby Gander International Airport (then called Newfoundland Airport) was the largest airport in the world and was one of the world's busiest! Not bad for a town that built its first house in 1952. |

The Hiway Cafe in Lyons, Nebraska from the Anna Anton segment, now permanently closed.
I always liked old diners. |
