Up until 2006 when me and my family had a garage sale and moved, my parents had a cassette tape that included old versions of Christmas songs. I remember listening to it. One song at the end had someone say something along the lines of this: “It’s Christmas Eve 1945…” I may have gotten the year wrong but does anyone know what song this was and what CD, tape, website that it’s on? The person who said that MIGHT have been Perry Como.

Lyrics from a song: Moonlight shining on the mistletoe Carols singing in the snow Soon will come the finest hour I know It's Christmas eve Candles lighting windows everywhere Season's greetings fill the air Santa travelling every thoroughfare It's Christmas eve There's a legend that some wise men say is true Fall in love on Christmas eve and love lasts your whole life through Winter evening of the holy birth Night time full of joy and mirth Goodwill to all and peace on earth It's Christmas eve Goodwill to all and peace on earth It's Christmas eve.
