Should "old threads" be limited as to how many can be brought back at a time?

When strings of "old threads" are brought back up, it puts "NEW THREADS" way downed the page and can be missed by others.

I think old threads (10-20 years old) should stay dead.

The fastest way to kill a website forum board
is to continuing to re-post dead threads

1) It discourages NEW THREADS to be made.
2) It shows new people that the board has nothing NEW TO OFFER
3) It annoys old members and may not return.

Why does some people act as it is their solely duty to post on everything that gets posted, even when they have NOTHING to CONTRIBUTE to the thread or posts?

REMEMBER this when posting:

8. Do not post simply to raise your post count.
It's not a contest to see who can post the most.
It's QUALITY over QUANTITY.

I voted yes! A few old threads rehashed now and than if it's an interesting topic . Once in a while , not all the time . But 20 year old threads flooding the boards all the time, No !!

Keep it to 5 threads and NOT foolish dumb topics, relevant and informative and those that benefit with NEW info added.......

Idiotic? My guy, if the thread makes sense then go ahead and post away. But if you're posting in a thread from 2002 that has no replies, and the person may or may not be active on the forum anymore....what's the point?

There was a thread on CD AMackII titled "Is the American populace as dumb as Kamala paints them to be?" and I was gonna reply and say "YES 2020 SHOWED THEY ARE" But I didnt........ I have 2 posts so far with my current acct there.....

I basically have found all good stuff to reply to here on this base... I dont want you to think I stopped because of the babiness....... There really isnt anything else GOOD to reply to which is sad.... Soon this base will be dead again with the same boring threads from brainwashed people who have no direction in life..... Cant remember how much better the past was and wanna forget it.....

Really very sad.......
