I kinda wish there'd been more interaction between opposite spouses

And no I'm not talking about anything "weird", but I wish there'd been more interaction between Fred and Betty and between Wilma and Barney... I just wish we could have seen how they would interact together more and gotten to know each other. That way we could have seen ALL FOUR characters interact one and one at different times.

On I Love Lucy there was quite a bit of interaction between Lucy and Fred, and those were funny moments, and to a lesser extent between Ricky and Ethel.

I think some funny plot ideas for adventures for the opposite spouses could be:

1. Fred and Betty enter a dance contest and Betty has to teach Fred how to dance.

2.There is a comedy play Wilma and Barney wanna see, Fred and Betty aren't really into it, so Wilma and Barney go and end up getting parts in the next play.... I could see that because to me Wilma and Barney were more laid back and liked a good laugh, as opposed to Fred and Betty who were usually more serious

3. Fred and Wilma decide to change places again to prove who has the hardest job, Wilma goes to work at the quarry and Fred becomes the "house husband", So while Wilma and Barney are at work, Fred and Betty decide to whip up a grand feast for Wilma and Barney when they get home. But it ends up becoming a cook-off contest between Fred and Betty, them both trying to outdo each other. Fred making a grand mess of course. But at the last minute, Betty jumps in and helps Fred with his dinner, and they both get the kitchen cleaned up and Barney and Wilma are served a good meal

I think the 4 characters could have occasionally had different pair-ups like that without it seeming weird
