Seeing as it was on PBS back in 1980, I don't think many people would remember.

The love of my life's name was Bernadette.

I regret not making her my wife because I didn't trust myself.

I wonder what she is doing now.

SNAP back to reality.

I'm gonna look her up right now. Time I grow up already. I hope she still works at Taco Bell. It has only been a small ten years. so she should still be there right?

Who should Wise Up? Bernadette? I wish she had done more. She and Jimmie were reunited on his sitcom "Bustin' Loose" in 1987. She guest starred as Ms. Fisherman?(I think the name is right) but was reffered to as "Ms. Fish Face" by one of the kids Sonny(Jimmie) worked with. I honestly though when Jimmie and Bernadette's characters were on screen together for the first time on the show, I thought that they were gonna act like JJ and Thelma. LOL.

For the record, I never laughed at you! I agreed. If you go back to my post it's stated that I remember some black woman in money very vaguely. I remember seeing the show during the mid-1980s. I never doubted you because you brought back a memory. It was extremely vague but I remembered a little bit of it. I am about to watch the video that you provided. Let everyone else eat their words. LOL.

PBS would put on a lot of black show's and then would cancel them after a season or a couple of episodes. There were show's like 'Up & Coming', "Getting To Know Me, and 'Watch Your Mouth', which never had the full backing of PBS and were cancelled after 1 season.

One of the few episodes of that show I saw as a kid. She was the mean teacher who wouldn’t use the little girls drawing because she felt it was ghetto. Her and Jimmie did have an argument on the show.
