Sarah Sherman to Guest on "GH"
SNL's Sarah Sherman Boards "General Hospital" as an Etiquette Tutor for Rena Sofer's Lois

The SNL comedian is slated to add her zany comedy stylings to "General Hospital" for two episodes airing Thursday, Sept. 5 and Friday, Sept. 6, reports PEOPLE. But in a pivot from her usual gross-out humor persona, Sherman will appear as Ms. Finch, an etiquette teacher and dialect tutor for Rena Sofer’s Lois Cerullo. As a longtime fan of the soap opera, Sherman told the outlet that her guest-starring stint is a dream come true. “I had the best time of my life and I couldn’t believe I got to act in a scene with 'TRACY QUARTERMAINE'!” Sherman said, referencing the character portrayed by Jane Elliot. “I was so nervous about flubbing my lines, because I was surrounded by pros who memorize like a billion pages of dialogue a day.” Crossing paths with the show’s infamous scheming socialite wasn’t the only highlight of her appearance. “I met Sonny Corinthos, so I can die happy,” Sherman added. https://ew.com/snl-sarah-sherman-boa...-coach-8706329 |
