I was wondering whatever happened to Tony Williams, who played Willis' pal Charles during Diff'rent Strokes' first three seasons. According to his profile on the Internet Movie Database (IMdb), his final credit to date was a guest-starring role on the short-lived drama The Bronx Zoo in 1987. Much like another of Willis' buddies, Vernon (Anthony Thompkins), I had hoped Charles would've continued on Strokes as a recurring character throughout its (over)long eight-season run. And it would've been a joy to see Charles, Vernon, and Willis all competing for the attention and affection of the lovely Charlene DuPrey (Janet Jackson) as they entered high school.
