Hello to all sitcomsonline members.
I am only three complete seasons in to "Family (1976)", my newest comfort show, so I may be too early asking this, but is there any ep that provides the back story on how Doug came to be the sole occupant of his childhood home while his father lives elsewhere? Do we have another "Father Knows Best: Home for Christmas (1977)" or "The Office" where children - Bud Anderson and Jim Halpert, respectively - buy their family home from their parents? Or did James just get fed up with repairs, upkeep and tax payments and deeded it over to Doug? Something surrounding the divorce, perhaps? |
