Default Goosebumps vs. Are You Afraid Of The Dark?

Well after a long dormant period(6 and a half months), I have returned...

lately i've been catching reruns of Goosebumps on Cartoon Network (Mon-Thur 8-9) and It has brought up memories of my youth and how much i was creeped out by this show as well as the Nickelodeon classic Are You Afraid Of The Dark?, so my question is which show satisfied you more and why?

Definitely "Are You Afraid." I watched them both in their original runs, but I have so many memories from AYAOTD? that will never, ever leave my mind. That show truly scared the crap out of me, my brother, and my cousins. But still, every Saturday night, we all crowded around grandma's TV to watch lol

Yeah, I only saw AYAOTD? reruns during the days during the mid 90's... and even during the day it scared the crap out of me, however I liked goosebumps more because even though it was scary it always ended by finishing the story, sometimes on AYAOTD? they'd leave you hanging and then i'd be like ohh S***, and be scared for the rest of the day

I never really got into Are You Afraid of the Dark? Not really sure why but I used to watch Goosebumps when it was on FOX Saturday mornings sometimes and also in the summer on FOX Family as well as on YTV in Canada.

I really can't say one is better than the other since I don't know AYAOTD too well. Just wanted to give you all my opinion of Goosebumps though, that was a great show (books were amazing too!)

Goosebumps! I loved that show. FOX Kids! Those were the days....

My favorite episode was always "The Haunted Mask (part I)."

I never really got into Are You Afraid Of The Dark? I caught some episodes originally and a few reruns on the Disney channel way back when, but it never held my attention.

Both are great shows so I can't say. Even now, as I am older, I watch Goosebumps lol. I remember I used to watch it as a kid in the mid to late '90s. I loved AYAOTD as well, I'll say Goosebumps has a slight edge. I love Welcome to Camp Nightmare.

I totally agree. "We DON'T have campers by those names." LOL. Sorry I even remember lines spoken from that two-part episode lol.

Have you ever seen "The Girl Who Cried Monster"? That dude & episode scares the sh*t out of me, I'm gonna admit . As a kid and now it still does. Eugene Lipinski, who was also a creeper on the Animorphs TV Show if y'all remember that ish as well, is one creepy looking guy lol.
