It's really odd how, a little over a month after MeTV Toons debuted, suddenly The Flintstones and The Jetsons have to be dumped off MeTV. Totally.

Obviously The Flintstones was a flop at 6:30 am ET, but Sunday morning? That two hour block has been in place for a few years.

And, The Flintstones--even My Three Sons--were better lead-ins to Toon In with Me, than Adam-12.

And what a thoughtful add at noon on Sunday! More Andy. They sure don't show that enough!

Here is a thought do you think Me TV should be renamed and given a Fresh NEW Classic TV Schedule & offer Fresh New Promos, Just like when Decades became Catchy Comedy?

On a side note I think it would also be neat if 12/26 thru 12/31 Me TV & Catchy Comedy came together and had a Classic TV Countdown just like NICK at NITE did in the late 80’s & early 90’s.

You know what MeTV's answer would be: "We consistently beat several cable channels in the ratings, including Nick at Nite and TV Land, and we're not even primarily a cable channel. So we're not gonna mess with success."

But I think it's a good idea, particularly freshening up the promos.

11AM: Happy Days (replaces The Flintstones)
Math question. At a once a week pace how long would they have to run it to get through the entire series?

Not a fan of making cartoons exclusive to one channel. Cartoon Network did that with Looney Tunes in the late 90's / early 2000's. It almost led to the cartoons completely being forgotten by the general public and also crippled the animation industry.

I Love Lucy could also be a good lead in for Toon In With ME. Afraid the other classic shows won't work in the Sunday morning block and METV will just be lazy and replaced the shows with even more MASH
and TAGS.

They are using those two shows too much as a crutch and it is going to end up biting them on down the road. They better figure out how to better balance programming classic shows and more variety and soon.

Someone outside of Weigel group bought it. MeTV will eventually have to move into the years (which for them is the 90's). I've said before. I'd start with "Early Edition" and go from there.

I'll give "MeVe Toons" another 6 months before they shut it down.

Say it again, MeTV lives or dies by Svengoolie. Morning guy will burn out. I'm not a fan but I can see he is trying to convert it into a talk-show. I can't imagine trying to come up with an hour show every day.

People who reference "Antenna TV" .. "Antenna TV" is an infomercial backed up by a TV show. You can get every show on Antenna TV on the web for free. l wish I had thought of it first.

Which is crazy. Why even bother showing it if you’re only going to show one episode a week? I don’t see any point in that.

(suggestion: a certain book named "Laziness Does Not Exist")

I can't believe MeTV makes their programming decisions based on ratings, Crazy! Svengoolie does great numbers and I'm sure they spend a ton licensing movies for him and there is only so much they can run. M*A*S*H is just uber-popular. Going to have to live with it. I'm sure it'll leave at some point. Their license for it may even be pre-Disney still.
