Grant Show says Age Gap betw. He and Jennie Garth's Characters was Wrong
Grant Show says Age Gap between He and Jennie Garth's Characters "Would Now be Illegal"
by Raechal Shewfelt August 1, 2024 "Melrose Place" actor Grant Show recently appeared on the Still the Place rewatch podcast, hosted by his former "Melrose Place" costars Daphne Zuniga, Laura Leighton, and Courtney Thorne-Smith. He looked back on his on-screen relationship with "Beverly Hills, 90210's" Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) and said that it was inappropriate. Their coupling "would now be illegal and like, 'Me Too,'" Show said. "I think we only kissed, but still, you know, not good, not good." "I didn't really think much of it at the time we were shooting," Show said. But then... "I was like, 'Oh, yeah. Look at that.'" While Garth was portraying a high school student, most stars of "Beverly Hills, 90210" were not in that age group. She had just turned 20 when the crossover episodes aired and Show was 30 at the time. Their storyline began on "90210", with Jake being a friend of the late Luke Perry's Dylan McKay. The two became involved when Jake did construction work at Kelly's house. Show appeared on two episodes of "90210" and Garth did three episodes of "Melrose Place". https://ew.com/90210-grant-show-says...llegal-8687162 |
