^^^ My only question is why were Marty's twins aged so much when we see them at age four I believe they were in season seven. One year later we see them turn nine.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. The seriousness that was brought to the show never bothered me. If anything, it only addressed things that were being dealt with by people in real life which is what I am sure plenty of other shows did and if the storylines in any show are written in the right way, people in real life will know what to do in certain situations if they don't already have prior experience/knowledge. Also don't forget that before Jill's dad went forward, another passing had already taken place during season three I believe it was: Mr. Binford. One of my most favorite Wilson moments was during the final season when Jill lets him in on what she learned about Heidi's marriage. When she says to Wilson, "You're not making me feel any better." Wilson then says, "Well excuse me, why do I always have to be Santa's little helper?" and of course the only thing that can be seen of him there are his eyes.

Also, this show became too blue-collared along the way.

I agree...His wisecracks in the first few seasons were one of the highlights of the show and that was a huge downgrade.

Nothing completely ruined the show for me, although Mark's "goth phase" in Season 7 was by far the closest. Going from such a cute kid to that? Ick. As you said, the producers just didn't know what to do with him.

The fact that Randy was gone in Season 8 didn't bother me much (probably because I never cared for his new "political hippie" character in Seasons 6-7), but it was obvious it was time for the show to end.
