Does anyone have the Frndly TV app? I am thinking about getting it for summer - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Since Pluto TV has been acting funny and I can only get Antenna TV on Digital.I figure I can just get for July and August since sports wont be around until September. I seen enough of Three's Company and Jeffersons on Pluto and want a change of classic TV. If you do have it I wanted to ask

Have u come across anything on same level as METV/Catchy Comedy/Antenna TV?

Do $6.99 get u all the digital channels or u have to get the highest one?

Frndly tv does not have antenna tv. Antenna tv does not stream anywhere currently.

I have the yearly subscription to Frndly.i mainly use it for Catchy and Dabl since I don’t get them over the air. Overall it’s worth it.

I bought the cheapest monthly plan for MeTV Toons. Once Fios in my area has MeTV Toons then I'll cancel Frndly.

If I were to move to an area that doesn't pick up many of the digit channels like Catchy Comedy, MeTV, etc then I'd buy into Frndly again.

I cant get Catchy Comedy and METV together so thats why I decided to get it. But mainly for the weekends.

I originally got it in 2022 for GAC Family but that channel has turned to garbage. It had a lot of 80s sitcoms when it first started but now it doesn’t have any sitcoms and only shows the same 3 or 4 dramas and year round Christmas movies which I don’t know why anyone wanted that.

I saw the Dabl Channel and like that it had Living Single but not none of the other shows.........Half and Half, Jamie Foxx, Moesha, Parkers.

So I got the app last Saturday and the one thing I do like is that I can rewind shows if I want to hear a funny apart again. Something I cant do on Digital TV. I am going to see what else I can find outside of MeTV and Catchy Comedy

The cheapest plan, which I have, doesn't have a rewind option. Nor does it allow me to use their DVR. I may upgrade. For right now it's giving me MeTV Toons so I'm happy with it.

I did price it out. For me Frndly is temporary. When Fios gets the channel I'll drop Frndly. Then I can rewind and record. Right now those are not issues for me even though it would be nice to have.

I have Frndly TV and I LOVE it because I get to see Game Show Network and METV Toons and I usually see Catch-21 on Frndly TV and Frndly TV is actually really cool and you also have Story Television and Catchy Comedy as well
