Game Show Producer Merrill Heatter has passed away - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Here's some very sad news in the game show world. It has been reported that game show producer Merrill Heatter has passed away on October 9th. Although it is not clear what caused Merrill Heatter's death Merrill Heatter was best known for producing Hollywood Squares and continued producing game shows in the 2000's co-producing my favorite GSN show Catch 21 with producer Scott Sternberg. With Merrill Heatter no longer with us I wonder if someday GSN or Buzzr will add some of the Merrill Heatter shows that are featured in the Merrill Heatter library someday soon in the future. Would that be awesome to see?

I really liked "Catch 21". My 2nd favorite GSN original series, "Lingo" hosted by Chuck Woolery is my 1st.
