Game Shows >>> Soap Operas

The game shows forum is a lot more active than the soap operas forum in both number of threads and number of posts. Now there are double digit number of game show sub-forums while soaps still don't have any. Would it be possible to switch the order of these forums on the main index page? Sadly reality shows is easily beating them both (although it might be a lot closer if you remove American Idol from the equation).

They aren't ordered by activity or post counts. The reason soap operas are after dramas/dramedies is because they are considered daytime dramas. I will probably add some soap opera sub-forums soon.

There are only 3 active soaps on OTA TV (is Days of Our Lives still streaming?) + one new one on the way, which IMO is quite the surprise, in this age, where fewer people stay home during 9 to 5.

The number of soaps are at an all time low since the 1950s, no?

Compare that to all the game shows going on, OTA + cable + streaming….seems appropriate to me.

I’m not even sure if I can find Soap Opera Digest at our grocery store.

DOOL did go to streaming--I think we'd have heard if they pulled the plug on that.

I doubt Soap Opera Digest is available anymore, at least in print. (I just checked Wikipedia, and it ceased print publication last October but their site is updated.)
