I only caught the intros, but a couple of strange things stood out:

Natalie Schafer said this was her first ever game show appearance, but she was either lying or suffering from bad memory. I saw a YouTube clip of her on the CBS version of Password. (Allen Ludden kept calling her character a "featherhead".)
What was with Dawn Wells and Lee Meriwether acting like fangirls and giving Richard Dawson a tongue bath? Dawn Wells was a CBS network colleague of his during the early years of Hogan's Heroes, and Lee Meriwether was seated next to him as a fellow panelist on countless weeks of 1970s Match Game.

I think they did that because they knew him well and liked him and just felt like being theatrical for the cameras. There have been some "civilian" contestants who behaved the same way, kissing Dawson multiple times. They also just seemed to like him a lot.
