Default Robert Fisher was on AMW last week

Last Saturday, Robert Fisher was profiled on America's Most Wanted. You may recall that UM profiled him in 2002. He is wanted for the 2001 murders of his wife and two children; he has been on the run ever since.

In the AMW segment, one of the cops was interviewed while at the place where the Fisher house once stood. The house was caught on fire, and it was believed that Robert Fisher had rigged an explosion in an attempt to cover up the murders. As it turns out, the fire broke out after Fisher's wife and children were already dead.

Fisher had been profiled on AMW numerous times before, but I think it's only a matter of time before he is captured. It often takes the right viewer to be watching, and I believe the Robert Fisher case will be no exception. But time only time will tell whether I'm right. Sometimes, the capture of a fugitive doesn't directly result from being profiled on TV.

In case you're unfamiliar with the UM segment, here is the profile:

This story is strikingly similar to that of John List. I can't believe I'm such an UM addict and didn't get a chance to see this segment. I hope they catch this guy soon... what a psycho. I don't understand how a parent can kill their own child.

Oh yeah, I saw it. I think it was said that he was seen with a little girl or boy.

Well, 1) Yeah, he's just plain psycho and 2) I think he just wanted to get rid of them so he could start a new life.

In other words, his wife and kids just happened to be hindering his selfish interests. That's what it looks like to me.

At first glance, I thought this thread was about Bobby Fischer, the greatest chess player in the history of mankind.

I'm kind of second-guessing the title of my thread. I probably should have put down murder suspect's full name: Robert William Fisher.
