O.J. Simpson
He hasn't been the same for 13 years and I think his Hall-of-Fame should be revoked.

I voted no...If we took HOFamers out for bad conduct off the field, youd have to take 1/2 the players out or the halls in almost any sport you can think of

Bad conduct is one thing, If you include alcohol and drug use, spousal abuse, income tax evasion etc... then yes, The halls of every major sport would be severely affected but OJ Simpson was accused & acquitted of murder and now he's been found guilty of armed robbery, kidnapping and other charges. How many current Hall of Famers from any sport can you name with a record even close to OJ's? I say yes, Kick his a** out to the curb. |

I agree what people above stated, that personal issues shouldn't be an overwhelming factor. But O.J. is a bad exception, yes rovoke the mother**cker's HOF spot. To me, after killin 2/3 people and robbing people, you shouldn't remain in the HOF. While their are exceptions, think about this, people, such as kids and young adults & teens look up to a lot of HOFs in any sport. For example, a teen playing on his baseball team might try to use the same swing Pete Rose did in the 70s and 80s to be a better and great hitter like Pete was, but then he could be like, well Pete gambled. Yeah but nobody is perfect. I'll take being a nice guy, and being a gambler over a murderer, psychopath and a thief. Wouldn't most people? That's just me.

Can they do that this long after he received it? Although I agree that he's a VERY poor role model and he's completely destroyed his life, the, the HOF thing was for his playing ability, wasn't it? That would be like taking away someone's Grammy, Academy Award, Tony Award, whatever for a particular show, Movie, TV series, etc. It's based on the work they did at the time, right?
