Young Sheldon returns back to nick@nite starting next week

Effective starting next week, Friends permanently is going BACK to 9pm slot AGAIN, and Young Sheldon notably is downgraded to 6am half hour slot.

For Friday, Sat, and Sun. Nickelodeon will air Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Fri Apr 26, same day Paramount Plus will release Knuckles series (based on Sonic franchise)

Friends A-Z will conclude on Apr 26 with last letter 'Z'.

Part of me wonders why did Nick@Nite even bothered to return the show in the first place recently, and later given with bad treatment with the move to 6am half hour slot.


On other news, Friends episodes for week of May 6 from 10pm-12am will be airing Mother's Day themed episodes, same episodes in order from last year (except this time episodes in any random order).

Zap2it updated and nick@nite pulled May 8 6am Young Sheldon premiere episode "The Wild and Woolly World of Nonlinear Dynamics", and replaced with different season 4 episode rerun.

Chrissie Hyndes guest star episode The One With the Baby on the Bus. Elizabeth Daily (former singer, later voice actress) guest starred The One With Phoebe's Ex-Partner, and these already and STILL airing on nick@nite! Meaning musical guests is NOT the cause for Friends episodes NOT airing.


Here are the 3 unaired episodes that has NOT aired on nick@nite:
-The One Where Rachel Smokes
-The One With the Stripper

The unaired ones somehow have been someone smoking, like Rachel slowly going to smoke for the first day on job Ralph Lauren career on the episode The One Where Rachel Smokes. She later on decides to quit smoking, but still continues to have great career afterwards.

The One With the Stripper episode has a hooker. That might be that nick@nite doesn't want to air episodes because of it, but that's a dumb reason not to air these, since Mike & Molly, and Mom have some characters smoking and it aired!

The One With Phoebe's Birthday Dinner has Chandler and his new co-workers in temporary new job: Tulsa smoking cigarettes, and Chandler joins.

The One Where Rachel Smokes was originally scheduled to air Sept 2023 for marathon after nick@nite recent rebrand but were pulled. The One With the Stripper was originally supposed to air on June 2023 as for father's day event [Rachel's father came to town for dinner, Rachel tells her father she is pregnant. He doesnt take it well.] but were pulled.

Nick@Nite Friends Mothers Day same promo from last year but with recent updated nick@nite rebrand. I still wish other shows could get marathon or any event other than just Friends, but haven't done so since 2022. Seinfeld was the last to have themed episodes despite with no promo, before it left nick@nite for good.

Seems that Friends now will air holiday episodes in this cycle addition to this.

Sat May 18 at 9pm hour according to zap2it has Young Sheldon instead of Friends. I hope that was error, since that show moved to 6am half hour weekdays. Then again things could probably change.

Last night overlapping movies til 9:15pm and airing IF documentary used Nickelodeon brand instead of nick@nite. So it's clear that movie overlapping 9pm slots will use Nick brand, NOT the first time. They have done this May 2022-late summer 2022, May 2023-late summer 2023, and now this until possibly late summer 2024.
