Default Favorite brother band

I've given other because I don't have room for everyone. But this is for bands with brother in the name. There are many bands that had brothers in them, but the word brother wasn't in the band name (e.g. Van Halen, The Kinks). Those aren't applicable here.

From the choices offered on the list I went with The Bellamy Brothers but I have to give an honorable mention to The Hudson Brothers, 1974 was their best year as their two best albums were released in 1974, Totally Out Of Control and Hollywood Situation. Then in the autumn of 1974 they had their own Saturday morning TV show for the kiddies titled The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show which ran for 16 episodes.

Statler Brothers. Aside from the already mentioned Hudson Brothers, I would also include The Brothers Johnson.

The three guys in the picture are brothers, but the one in the middle is the only one that is still in the music field these days with other musicians filling the empty band slots. That picture is from their album released in 2010. From left to right is Curtis, Brad, and Brian and their last name is Rempel. Brad does the lead singing and to me everything that I have heard from him is awesome.

God bless you and each past and present member always!!!

Holly

This was the first song from the band, and it went to radio just months after I graduated and to me, each member brought something to the picture that only made me smile which to this day still has not changed.

God bless you and them and the rest of their family always!!!

Holly (class of 2000)

P.S. An interesting thing about this set of brothers is that their parents have five other children for a grand total of eleven. The remaining five are the youngest of the family. Three more boys which include a set of twins came after the six who are in this video and to complete the family came a set of girl twins.

I voted for The Righteous Brothers.

But I would like to add:

Bee Gees

Noel and Liam Gallagher (Oasis)

Do you know the names of the blonde and brunette babes who were regulars in the skits on the Statler Brothers show?

I voted for Other . . . the Bee Gees - the "Brothers Gibb." Technically, the Allman Brothers were down to only one brother for the next three or four decades after Duane Allman died, and the Righteous Brothers, the Doobie Brothers and the Statler Brothers were not related. Nor, of course, were the Flying Burrito Brothers.

So, in other words, I focused on actual fraternal relations!

Two member of The Statler Brothers were actually brothers, but nobody in the group had the last name Statler (they took the name from a brand of facial tissues). The two brothers in the group were Harold Reid and Don Reid.

I picked The Statler Brothers. But only two members of the quartet were actually brothers, and they weren't related to the other two members of the group and the other two members also weren't related to each other. The two brothers in the group were Don Reid and Harold Reid.
