There were rumors going around in the '80s that there would be a Dallas/Dynasty crossover movie of some sort, with J.R. and Alexis getting into bed and business together. I doubt there were any serious plans for the two rival shows to join forces - even if it would be just for a one-time movie - but it was an intriguing idea back in those Reagan-'80s days.
I got to thinking: With the talk of a Dallas theatrical remake, why not go all-out and do the movie that would have been a 700 pound gorilla twenty years ago: Dallas Vs. Dynasty?? I'm tired of remakes myself, but if they're going to do it any way, why not go all-out and camp it up?? |

I wished that there was a Dallas and Dynasty TV show crossover. It might had save both shows from cancellation. J.R. and Alexis Carington would get along quite well. In real life, Joan and Larry were very good friends. Thus, neither would have a problem with a Dallas and Dynasty crossover event.
