Rugrats had been a favorite cartoon show on Nickelodeon since it debuted in 1991 but took off like a rocket since 1997 when Rugrats The Movie debuted in theaters. In 1999 Mattel launched a doll series of Rugrats called Make-Up Pretty Rugrats and had a neat commercial to match. The series consisted of Angelica Pickles and Susie Carmichael dolls who came with an applicator to apply "make-up" to their eyes and lips and cheeks in warm water and also came with two outfits which was a ballerina outfit which the dolls already came in and princess skirts to turn into princess gowns. To see the dolls in action watch the commercial to see these dolls to learn how the "make-up" is applied. The dolls are one of the rarest Rugrats items and the commercial is also the rarest Rugrats commercials. Believe it or not I had these dolls as a child and I remember how awesome they looked but my Susie Carmichaels doll was missing her princess skirt but my mom actually found it at the bottom of the box and I still have these dolls today
