And he did a LOT of them:Barney Rubble,Mr.Spacely,Secret Squirrel,Bubba McCoy on the 1970 CBS cartoon series "Where's Huddles?",Speed Buggy,Heathcliff the Cat.and Captain Caveman.Anyone remember these other cartoon characters he did?And which were you favorites of these?Mine were Barney Rubble(yes,I know the late Daws Butler subbed for Blanc briefly in 1961,while Blanc successfully recovered from his near fatal traffic accident,(he for a while did the voice of Barney Rubble while recuperating).and went back to playing the voice of Barney Rubble full time on "The Flintstones" until it ended in 1966 on ABC.,Secret Squirrel,Speed Buggy,Heathcliff the Cat,and Captain Caveman.I don't remember "Where's Huddles?" too much.As for Mr.Spacely ,I really didnt like the character-He was okay in the original 1960's ABC version of "The Jetsons",but in the 1980's verrsion,he was(no fault of Mel Blanc,who was the voice of Mr.Spacely in BOTH versions)tyrannical and downright mean and nasty.Anyway,back to the original questioin:Which were your favorites of the other cartoon characters the late,great Mel Blsnc did?

I loved Buggs Bunny, Barney Rubble, Yasmite Sam the best.

Known Fact:

Mel Blanc did the voice of Gus Goose in a Donald Duck cartoon "Donald's Cousin" (He only did the honking...something similar that he would do when he did the voice of Tom Cat in the Chuck Jones Tom and Jerry), and Blanc provided the laugh for Woody Woodpecker (Yes...Blanc did the voice of Woody Woodpecker and was created by Ben "Bugs" Hardaway...the same guy who made Bugs Bunny)!
