As if playing 2 parts wasn't enough LOL

One noticeable difference in the 3rd player (Betsey) was in opening Shake Shop scene they gave Betsey more bosom, vs Patty & Cathy who were equals.

Betsey really acted kinda sorta like a jerk - just the opposite of Cathy, but then they show that her family life is a mess as an excuse (?)

Patty says to her Dad "She's a Snake !"

Betsey's Mother states "We're going to transfer you the High School back home so we can get acquainted with you" Jeeez and that's her Mom.

Betsey doesn't go out with the whole football team,
"Just the Back Field ! " LOL

[Cathy_Lane]

Betsy was a very lonely girl who was trying to stave off that loneliness by dating all those boys, and then when she got to liking the Lane household, and Patty in particular, decided to try to turn the two cousins against each other. It wasn't the nicest thing to do, but for someone who is starved for attention, it is understandable. Patty and Cathy were very gracious in forgiving Betsy. It's almost a shame we never saw her again, to see how much more well-adjusted she would have become. Although Patty came from a loving home but she was still an attention-loving schemer...maybe that's why Betsy took to Patty instead of Cathy.
