Default As Of January 2021 Hazel Is On 22 Times A Week!!

I'm not complaining. I'm actually glad, with FETV and Antenna TV back to back showings of Hazel Monday to Friday. Plus Antenna TV Double showings on Saturdays we get Hazel 22 times a week. Are you in agreement with me that it's cool or is this overkill?

FETV - Monday to Friday 10AM to 11AM EST
Antenna TV- Monday to Friday 11AM to 12 NOON EST
Antenna TV - Saturdays 8PM to 9PM EST

Exclamation Always Leave 'em Wanting More

Actually for at least a year all thru 2020 and probably before too, both FETV & Antenna TV have been playing Hazel out the wahzoo, meaning 22 times a week. I was extremely happy when Hazel started being shown several years back as it was missing from all of TV since the 1990's. 20 years went by where I only continued to watch Hazel thanks to the tapes I made from WOR & Fam channel in the '90's. So that was extreme opposite of what we have today. What's needed is a happy medium. I still am happy Hazel is on the air again, but YES YES YES, this is way overkill. I thought twice a day is overkill, once a day is plenty. Personally I watch 3 different classic TV sitcoms ONCE a week, not even once a day. All this constant showing of any TV show, not just Hazel, would be overkill and make people sick of the show. You should look forward to watching a show each week or if you must, once a day, but all these marathon showings every single day just makes you sick of the show. I never watch any show in a "marathon" that's just a recipe to make you never want to see a show again.

I'm not sure about Antenna TV, since I don't get it on U-Verse so I rarely see it, but FETV is currently rerunning HAZEL 20 times a week. It's on for 2 episodes M-F 4-5 AM & 10-11 AM ET. The same episodes are run on the same day (10-11 has the same episodes that were run 4-5.), but because they are the same episodes, I figure FETV doesn't expect to watch them at both times daily.

If you want to see overkill, MeTV is rerunning MASH 22 times a week (6-8 PM M-F & 7-8 PM Sundays), and the episodes are all different reruns, so it's blowing through about a season a week. I guess it's working out well for the network, as the weekday runs were doubled in the last year or so (when MeTV dropped A-TEAM reruns), and I watch the ones I like myself.
